Industrial Hygienist
Jennifer Loveless brings eight years of public-sector experience and a strong foundation in occupational health, regulatory compliance, and hazard recognition to her work at OHCC. As the Clinic’s Industrial Hygienist, she evaluates occupational and environmental exposures, reviews employer health screening requests, and helps ensure screening practices align with OSHA standards. Her work includes conducting onsite surveys in workplaces and homes, reviewing exposure histories, and offering practical, actionable recommendations to reduce or eliminate hazards.
Jennifer also supports clinical screening services by conducting pulmonary function testing and respirator fit-testing, and by providing training and education to employers and patients on occupational and environmental health and safety. She has completed multiple advanced training courses through the OSHA Training Institute, expanding her expertise in areas such as confined spaces, industrial ventilation, noise, and hazardous materials. Her background in New York State Workers’ Compensation case management further enhances her ability to support injured workers.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Biology from Elmira College, a Master of Science from SUNY Cortland, and an Advanced Certificate in Industrial Hygiene from the CUNY School of Public Health. She looks forward to advancing her career in public health with plans to sit for the Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) examination through the Board for Global EHS Credentialing in the future.
